What is axSessionGlobalStatTCPSynHalfOpen?
This counter measures incomplete TCP handshakes where the server received SYN but client hasn't completed the connection. Monitoring this reveals potential SYN flood attacks or poorly behaved clients, prompting investigation of traffic quality. A spike from 10 to 1,500 half-open connections suggests malicious or misconfigured traffic arriving at the load balancer.
