The current state of the interface. up - has link and is initialized; down - has no link and is initialized; disabled - has been forced down
What is axInterfaceStatus?
This OID reports the operational state of the interface using an enumerated integer: up (has link), down (no link), or disabled (forced down). Engineers monitor this to distinguish between administratively disabled interfaces and those lacking physical link. A value of 'up' indicates the interface is active with a carrier signal present.
