What is axInterfaceStatMcastIn?
This Counter64 OID tracks multicast packets received on the interface, separated from unicast traffic counts. Network teams use this to monitor video streaming, IPTV, or group applications and detect multicast storms. A value of 100,000 multicast packets indicates active group-based communication on that segment.
