This Counter32 reports the current (real-time) number of active HTTP proxy connections on a specific CPU core. Engineers monitor this gauge to track concurrent connection load and identify bottlenecks or connection leaks. A value of 8,500 connections on a 16-core system indicates 531 connections per core on average.
