1 OID in SNMP Agent Statistics

OIDs in this theme are packet counters and reset controls for a device's protocol agents — for example the PPPoE intermediate agent's PADI/PADR discovery-packet counts, or a DHCP agent's message and binding statistics. An admin uses the reset object to zero out these counters before a troubleshooting window, then watches the counters climb to see how many discovery or negotiation packets a specific agent is handling. Comparing received versus sent counts on the same agent is a common way to spot dropped or unrelayed packets.
