Module: ZYXEL-IPV6-SNOOPING-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZYXEL-IPV6-SNOOPING-MIB::zyIpv6SnoopingPolicyPrefixGleanState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.109.1.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: EnabledStatus

Access: read-write

Description: Enable/Disable the option to glean IPv6 prefix in DHCP-PD packet

What is zyIpv6SnoopingPolicyPrefixGleanState?

This read-write EnabledStatus controls whether the device gleans (extracts) the IPv6 prefix carried in DHCP-PD (Prefix Delegation) packets as part of this snooping policy. Admins enable this when they need the switch to learn delegated IPv6 prefixes handed out to downstream routers, supporting IPv6 source/binding validation for those prefixes. For example, setting this to enabled on a policy applied to an uplink interface lets the switch track prefixes delegated to a customer router behind that port.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ZYXEL-IPV6-SNOOPING-MIB::zyIpv6SnoopingPolicyPrefixGleanState

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.109.1.2.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZYXEL-IPV6-SNOOPING-MIB::zyIpv6SnoopingPolicyPrefixGleanState.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.109.1.2.1.3.1 s <value>
