What is zyMacFlush?
This object acts as a trigger rather than a persistent setting: setting it active clears the switch's entire MAC address forwarding-database table. An admin uses this when troubleshooting MAC learning issues or after a major topology change, forcing the switch to relearn MAC addresses from scratch instead of waiting for entries to age out naturally. For example, setting zyMacFlush to active would immediately wipe the whole MAC address table, causing brief flooding until addresses are relearned.
