What is l2tpStatsActiveSessions?
This read-only Gauge32 reports the number of L2TP sessions currently active on the device, where a single tunnel can carry multiple sessions. Admins use it to track subscriber/session load across all L2TP tunnels and to correlate against l2tpStatsActiveTunnels to see average sessions per tunnel. For example, l2tpStatsActiveSessions holding steady while l2tpStatsActiveTunnels drops suggests remaining tunnels are absorbing sessions from the tunnels that went down, rather than sessions being lost.
