What is onuSoftwareAuth?
INTEGER enum (sn=0, mac=1) selecting whether ONUs on this slot authenticate to the OLT by their serial number or their MAC address. Admins set this to match how ONUs were provisioned in the field -- e.g. choosing 'sn' when technicians register ONUs by scanning the printed serial number barcode. The source DESCRIPTION is blank, so this reading comes from the enum labels and object name.
