Module: ZXR10-CDP-COMPLIANCE-MIB
OID (symbolic): ZXR10-CDP-COMPLIANCE-MIB::zxr10CdpStatsRemAgeouts
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.3.6000.511.2.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: ZeroBasedCounter32
Access: read-only
Description: The number of times the complete set of information advertised by a particular MSAP has been deleted from tables contained in zxr10CdpRemSysData because the information timeliness interval has expired. This counter should be incremented only once when the complete set of information is completely invalidated (aged out) from all related tables. Partial aging, similar to deletion case, is not allowed, and thus, should not change the value of this counter.
What is zxr10CdpStatsRemAgeouts?
This ZeroBasedCounter32 counts how many times a CDP neighbor's complete set of advertised information was purged switch-wide because its information-timeliness interval expired without a refresh, incrementing once per neighbor even though multiple related table entries are invalidated together. An admin watches it to detect neighbors that have silently stopped sending CDP updates, whether from a crash, misconfiguration, or a dead link, without relying on interface link-state alone. A rising ageout count with no corresponding rise in zxr10CdpStatsRemInserts points to neighbors going stale rather than the topology simply growing.
