Module: ZTE-AN-OPTICAL-MODULE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-OPTICAL-MODULE-MIB::zxAnOpticalTransDistanceSmLongR

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.30.40.2.4.1.40

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: This value specifies the transfer distance that is supported by the transceiver while operating in compliance with the applicable standards using single mode based long reach fiber. The value is in units of kilometers. A value of 255 means the transceiver supports a transfer distance greater than 254 km. A value of zero means the transceiver does not support single mode fiber or that the transfer distance information must be determined from the transceiver technology.

What is zxAnOpticalTransDistanceSmLongR?

This read-only value, in kilometers, reports the maximum transfer distance the transceiver supports on single-mode long-reach fiber; 255 means greater than 254km, and 0 means single-mode isn't supported or the distance must be derived from the transceiver's technology type. Admins use it to verify a transceiver can reach the required span before deploying it on a long fiber run.
