Module: ZTE-AN-OPTICAL-MODULE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-OPTICAL-MODULE-MIB::zxAnOpticalTransDistanceOm1

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.30.40.2.4.1.42

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: This value specifies the transfer distance that is supported by the transceiver wihle operating in compliance with applicable standards using 62.5 micron multimode OM1(200 MHz*km at 850nm, 500MHz*km at 1310mm) fiber. The value is in units of 10 meters. A value of 255 means that the transceiver supports a transfer distance greater than 2.54km. A value of zero means that the transceiver does not support 62.5 micron multimode fiber or the transfer distance must determined from the transceiver technology.

What is zxAnOpticalTransDistanceOm1?

This read-only value, in units of 10 meters, reports the maximum transfer distance the transceiver supports on 62.5-micron OM1 multimode fiber; 255 means greater than 2.54km, and 0 means OM1 isn't supported or the distance must be derived from the transceiver's technology type. Admins use it when planning multimode runs over older 62.5-micron fiber plant.
