Description: This attribute specifies the value of the LOS duration. The laser will be shutdown when detected the LOS duration longer than zxAnOptAlsLaserLosDuration value. Setting this object will enable the ALS function. For C300 Series NE, the default value is 5. For C600 Series NE, the default value is 50.

What is zxAnOptAlsLaserLosDuration?

This read-write value (5-200000, in units of 100ms) sets how long a loss-of-signal condition must persist before ALS shuts the laser down; writing this object also enables the ALS function. Default is 5 on C300-series and 50 on C600-series equipment, so admins should check the platform before assuming a value.
