Description: ECMP mode.

What is zxAnL3ForwardEcmpMode?

This object selects which combination of packet header fields, such as source IP, destination IP, source MAC, or source/destination port, the device hashes on to distribute traffic across multiple equal-cost routed paths (ECMP), defaulting to hashing on both source and destination IP. An administrator changes this mode to improve load distribution across ECMP paths for their specific traffic mix, for instance switching to a port-based hash when many flows share the same IP pair but different ports. For example, setting zxAnL3ForwardEcmpMode to srcPortAndDestPort(9) would better distribute load across ECMP links for traffic where many sessions share the same source and destination IPs but use different port numbers.
