Description: A unique value which identifies this virtual UNI/NNI instance in the port identified by xylnatmVUniConfPortIndex in slot xylnatmVUniConfSlotIndex

What is xylnatmVUniConfInsIndex?

This object, part of the table's index, is a unique instance number that the switch's own software assigns to identify this virtual UNI/NNI instance within its port, rather than being chosen by the admin. According to the MIB's own comments, when an admin creates a new virtual UNI/NNI by specifying slot and port, the agent picks the actual instance index itself, so the final SNMP index may differ slightly from what was initially requested. An admin who requests creation using instance index 4 on slot 5 port 1 might find the switch actually assigns index 3, so the final table entry appears as 5.1.3 rather than 5.1.4.
