scGenGroupLACPMode

Module: XSWITCH-MIB

OID (symbolic): XSWITCH-MIB::scGenGroupLACPMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.28.1.3.1.1.29

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this attribute determines whether LACPDU messages can be exchanged by the module's ports. If enabled, the ports will exchange LACPDU messages according to their scGenPortLACPMode MIB. If disabled, every port of the module will not exchange LACPDU messages - regardless of there scGenPortLACPMode MIB. This MIB is required for internal communication between the agent and its sub-agents, in order to distribute throughout the switch's modules the setting made on the scGenSwitchLACPMode MIB.

What is scGenGroupLACPMode?

Enables or disables LACP (802.3ad link aggregation) message exchange for all ports on this module at once; when disabled here, individual ports' scGenPortLACPMode settings are overridden and LACPDUs are never exchanged. This object mirrors the chassis-wide scGenSwitchLACPMode setting down to each module.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.28.1.3.1.1.29
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> XSWITCH-MIB::scGenGroupLACPMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.28.1.3.1.1.29.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> XSWITCH-MIB::scGenGroupLACPMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.28.1.3.1.1.29.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> scGenGroupLACPMode.1
