Foreign Interface device type - manufacturer independent. A physical connection provided by a device for the purpose of connecting an external accessory. This accessory may be capable of tracking data (e.g. Auditron) or may enable/ disable device operation (e.g. card reader, coin operator, etc.). This device type shall only be used when the device cannot detect the type of external accessory that is physically connected. If the device can detect the type of external accessory which can be physically connected,
