wwpLeosChassisTempLowThreshold

Module: WWP-LEOS-CHASSIS-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-CHASSIS-MIB::wwpLeosChassisTempLowThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.11.1.1.5.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This variable indicates the low temperature threshold to be used by the device when checking temperature of the device. This object is similar to wwpLeosChassisTempSensorLowThreshold only difference is that wwpLeosChassisTempLowThreshold is global attribute not per sensor based. wwpLeosChassisTempSensorLowThreshold will have the same value as wwpLeosChassisTempLowThreshold at all times. wwpLeosChassisTempSensorLowThreshold is basically redundant.

What is wwpLeosChassisTempLowThreshold?

A chassis-wide global low-temperature threshold. As the MIB's own description notes, this object is basically redundant with the per-sensor wwpLeosChassisTempSensorLowThreshold, which always carries the same value, so an admin can set either one with the same effect.
