Description: This variable indicates whether the system generates the wwpIpInterfaceAddrChgNotification. A false value prevents this notifications from being generated by this system.
What is wwpIpInterfaceAddrNotifEnabled?
This object indicates whether the system generates a wwpIpInterfaceAddrChgNotification trap when this interface's address changes, defaulting to true; setting it to false suppresses that notification. Admins disable this on interfaces where frequent, expected address changes (such as DHCP renewal) would otherwise generate excessive trap noise. Setting wwpIpInterfaceAddrNotifEnabled to false(2) on a DHCP-assigned interface would stop routine lease renewals from triggering an address-change notification trap each time.
