Module: WR-SWITCH-MIB

OID (symbolic): WR-SWITCH-MIB::wrsFaultIP

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.96.100.7.1.2.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Description: The fault address of the last panic. This is the instruction pointer normally printed by the stack backtrace. The register is zeroed at first boot and only modified within panic.

What is wrsFaultIP?

The faulting instruction pointer captured during the switch's last kernel/firmware panic, equivalent to the address normally shown in a stack backtrace; it is zeroed at first boot and only set during a panic. A developer uses it with wrsFaultLR to locate the code path that crashed the last time the switch panicked.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.96.100.7.1.2.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> WR-SWITCH-MIB::wrsFaultIP

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.96.100.7.1.2.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> WR-SWITCH-MIB::wrsFaultIP.1
