What Is WITS-PRODUCTS-MIB?
WITS-PRODUCTS-MIB is a registration-only MIB that defines the enterprise OID structure under which Witness Systems, a workforce-management and call-recording platform vendor, registers its individual product MIBs. It does not itself carry runtime management data; it exists solely to enumerate product identifiers (via the witsProducts node) so that downstream Witness Systems device/software MIBs can be uniquely identified in the OID tree. Consequently it has no hardware/software status objects of its own such as CPU load, uptime, or process status - those would appear in the product-specific MIBs rooted here. It depends only on standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprise-registration conventions, with no other MIB dependencies of note. It would appear in an NMS's MIB tree solely as the naming anchor for Witness Systems' actual workforce-management/call-recording product MIBs. Engineers can download the WITS-PRODUCTS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in WITS-PRODUCTS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
