vrrpNotificationCntl

Module: VRRP-MIB

OID (symbolic): VRRP-MIB::vrrpNotificationCntl

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.68.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates whether the VRRP-enabled router will generate SNMP traps for events defined in this MIB. 'Enabled' results in SNMP traps; 'disabled', no traps are sent.

What is vrrpNotificationCntl?

Enables or disables SNMP trap generation for VRRP events on this router; an admin sets disabled(2) to suppress VRRP traps (e.g. master transitions, auth failures) if the NMS doesn't need them.
