vpnPerformanceIfRearmThreshold

Module: VPN-PERFORMANCE-MIB

OID (symbolic): VPN-PERFORMANCE-MIB::vpnPerformanceIfRearmThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.9929.1.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: The rearm threshold used to compare successive alarm values against.

What is vpnPerformanceIfRearmThreshold?

This read-write value, in hundredths of a second, sets the rearm threshold used to compare successive alarm values, determining when a previously alarmed condition on this tunnel is considered cleared. Admins tune it to prevent an alarm from immediately re-triggering on borderline latency readings right after clearing. For example, setting a higher vpnPerformanceIfRearmThreshold than the alert threshold creates a buffer so latency has to clearly improve before the alarm is considered resolved.
