What is vmkLoaded?

This value reports whether the VMware ESX vmkernel, the hypervisor's core kernel component, has successfully loaded on the host, returned as a simple yes/no string. Administrators check this as a basic health indicator confirming the hypervisor itself came up correctly during boot, before digging into more detailed VM or hardware status. For example, a value of "no" on a host that should be running would immediately flag that the hypervisor failed to initialize properly.
