Description: This read-only variable specifies whether or not (stpenabled, stpdisabled) Spanning Tree Protocol is enabled on this network group. Caution: Do not change the value of this variable except under Vitalink direction. Default = stpenabled.
What is vGroupBaseSTPEnabled?
Read-only flag showing whether Spanning Tree Protocol is enabled (stpenabled, the default) or disabled (stpdisabled) on this network group. The MIB explicitly warns not to change this except under Vitalink's direction, since disabling STP on a bridged link risks a forwarding loop.
