Description: The unsolicited report interval specifies the time between the two initial group membership reports that the IGMP proxy sends.

What is usdIgmpProxyInterfaceUnsolicitedReportInterval?

This value, in seconds, sets the time between the two initial unsolicited group membership reports the IGMP proxy sends when a host first joins a group. Admins adjust it to balance faster join convergence, with a shorter interval, against extra multicast control traffic on the upstream link, with a longer interval. With the default of 10 seconds, a newly joined group triggers one report immediately and a second confirming report about 10 seconds later.
