usrPptpDataTunnelReassemblyTimeout
Module: USR-PPTP-MIB
OID (symbolic): USR-PPTP-MIB::usrPptpDataTunnelReassemblyTimeout
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.56.1.1.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: MilliSeconds
Access: read-write
Description: This object defines the number of milliseconds that the PPTP stack will use to determine the window to use before reassembling out of order packets. A low value increases the chance of out-of-sequence packets to be lost (which MAY causes the PPP decompression engine to reset), a high value increases the time period where the PPTP stack processes packets which were received out of order (especially in the case of a packet which was lost within the network). The default value for this object is zero (0) which may result in all out of sequence packets being lost.
What is usrPptpDataTunnelReassemblyTimeout?
Sets the window, in milliseconds, the stack uses to wait for out-of-order packets before reassembling them; a low value risks discarding late packets (which can force the PPP decompression engine to reset), while a high value tolerates more reordering at the cost of extra processing delay - the default of 0 may cause all out-of-sequence packets to be dropped.
