usrPPPBundleTxEncryptPkts

Module: USR-PPPML-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-PPPML-MIB::usrPPPBundleTxEncryptPkts

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.11.2.1.1.24

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: The total number of packets received from an upper layer application for transmission over this bundle that were encrypted by the PPP application before handing the packet (or fragments) down to the lower layer application. The value of this object is meaningful only when the link has reached the open state (usrPPPBundleOperStatus is up). Note that this counter only represents packets that were encrypted over the BUNDLE (not links). If encryption occurred after the packet was fragmented (multilink), those counters can be found at the link level.

What is usrPPPBundleTxEncryptPkts?

Counter32 giving the number of outbound packets encrypted at the bundle level before being handed down for transmission; meaningful only once the bundle is open. Use this to confirm encryption is actually being applied to a bundle session that's supposed to be secured.
