usrPPPBundleRxNonCompPkts

Module: USR-PPPML-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-PPPML-MIB::usrPPPBundleRxNonCompPkts

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.11.2.1.1.21

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: The total number of packets received from a lower layer application over this bundle that were NOT decompressed by the PPP application before handing the packet to the upper layer application. The value of this object is meaningful only when the link has reached the open state (usrPPPBundleOperStatus is up). Note that this counter only represents packets that were candidates for decompression over the BUNDLE (not links). If link (de)compression was enabled (multilink), the non- compressed frame counters can be found at the link level.

What is usrPPPBundleRxNonCompPkts?

Counter32 giving the number of inbound packets at the bundle level that were candidates for decompression but weren't compressed by the peer; meaningful only once the bundle is open. A consistently high value here suggests the remote side isn't compressing traffic even though compression was negotiated.
