usrPPPBundleRxCompPkts

Module: USR-PPPML-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-PPPML-MIB::usrPPPBundleRxCompPkts

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.11.2.1.1.20

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: The total number of packets received from a lower layer application over this bundle that were decompressed by the PPP application before handing the packet to the upper layer application. The value of this object is meaningful only when the link has reached the open state (usrPPPBundleOperStatus is up). Note that this counter only represents packets that were decompressed over the BUNDLE (not links). If decompression occurred before the packet was reassembled (multilink), those counters can be found at the link level.

What is usrPPPBundleRxCompPkts?

Counter32 giving the number of inbound packets at the bundle level that were decompressed before being handed to the upper layer; meaningful only once the bundle is open. Compare it with usrPPPBundleRxTotalPkts to see how much of the inbound traffic was actually compressed by the peer.
