usrPPPBridgeLocalToRemoteTinygramCompression
Module: USR-PPPML-MIB
OID (symbolic): USR-PPPML-MIB::usrPPPBridgeLocalToRemoteTinygramCompression
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.11.2.5.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Indicates whether the local node will perform Tinygram Compression when sending packets to the remote entity. If false then the local entity will not perform Tinygram Compression. If true then the local entity will perform Tinygram Compression. The value of this object is meaningful only when the link has reached the open state (usrPPPBridgeOperStatus is opened).
What is usrPPPBridgeLocalToRemoteTinygramCompression?
Read-only flag showing whether the local node applies Tinygram Compression (per RFC 1220) when sending bridged frames to the peer: true(1) or false(2); meaningful only once BCP is open. Tinygram compression trims padding on small bridged Ethernet frames, so seeing true confirms that bandwidth-saving feature is active for this bridged dial-up link.
