usrFAMPAStatsResetTime

Module: USR-FA-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-FA-MIB::usrFAMPAStatsResetTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.83.1.25

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DateAndTime

Access: read-write

Description: Reading: Time the FA MPA statistics counters were last reset. The FA MPA statistics are valid from usrFAMPAStatsResetTime until present. Resetting counters causes a discontinuity in the monotonically increasing value of counters. Management stations that sample these counters need also to sample this object so that they can know that a discontinuity occurred with respect to the previous sample. Its value is described in SNMPv2-TC (RFC1903). Writing: Writing of DateAndTime causes update of usrFAMPAStatsResetTime to the current time and the FA MPA counters to be reset to 0: usrFAMPARegStat This object replaces usrFAResetStats

What is usrFAMPAStatsResetTime?

Reading this object returns the timestamp when the Foreign Agent's MPA statistics counters were last reset, for use alongside those counters to detect discontinuities. Writing any DateAndTime value to it resets that timestamp to now and zeroes the usrFAMPARegStat counter group; it also replaces the older usrFAResetStats object.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.83.1.25
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> USR-FA-MIB::usrFAMPAStatsResetTime

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.83.1.25.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> USR-FA-MIB::usrFAMPAStatsResetTime.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.83.1.25.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> usrFAMPAStatsResetTime.1
