usrDialoutPortState

Module: USR-DIALOUT-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-DIALOUT-MIB::usrDialoutPortState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.25.6.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The state of the virtual port. When a port is in the available(1) state, it is available to a network user. When a port is in the unavailable(2) state, it is not available to a network user. When a port is in the in-use(3) state, it is currently in use by a network user. Setting this object to disconnect(4) will cause a supervisory disconnect of the current user. Setting this object to any other value will have no effect.

What is usrDialoutPortState?

This enumerated value reports and, when set to disconnect(4), controls a virtual port's state: available, unavailable, in-use, or forced disconnect. Admins write disconnect(4) to forcibly terminate a stuck or misused session on a specific port; any other written value has no effect. Reading in-use(3) tells the admin a network user currently occupies that virtual port, while writing disconnect(4) immediately kicks that user off.
