usrDialoutCFMStatusFlag
Module: USR-DIALOUT-MIB
OID (symbolic): USR-DIALOUT-MIB::usrDialoutCFMStatusFlag
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.25.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: UsrConfigStatus
Access: read-write
Description: Setting the value of this object to `save' causes the values of the Dial-out Group to be written out to the current config file, which is stored in the usrDialoutConfigFileName object. While the new ConfigFile is being written, the Dial-out process will set the value of this flag to `saving''. Any attempts to set the value while it is not `normal' (i.e. the file is currently being written to the ConfigFile) while result in a badValue error being returned. Setting the value to `normal' will result in no action.
What is usrDialoutCFMStatusFlag?
This object both reports and triggers the state of writing the Dial-out Group's configuration out to its config file, cycling through normal, saving, and save states. Admins set it to save to persist current dial-out settings to disk, and must wait for it to return to normal before issuing another set, since attempting a set while saving returns a badValue error. Setting usrDialoutCFMStatusFlag to save commits the current dial-out configuration to the file named in usrDialoutConfigFileName.
