Module: ThreeParMIB

OID (symbolic): ThreeParMIB::nodeID

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12925.1.7.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

What is nodeID?

This object identifies which storage-system node, numbered from 0 up to 31, generated or is otherwise associated with a particular alert entry in the 3PAR array's alert table. An admin uses this to pinpoint which physical controller node within a multi-node 3PAR array needs attention when investigating a reported alert. For example, a value of 2 would mean the alert originated from node 2 of the array, distinct from alerts posted by node 0 or node 1.

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.12925.1.7.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ThreeParMIB::nodeID.1
