What is nvwScanCurrMem?

This object reports how much memory the appliance's scanning engine is currently consuming. An admin watches this metric to catch memory exhaustion before it causes scan failures or a device restart, especially during traffic spikes or when scanning particularly large files. For example, memory usage climbing steadily toward the device's ceiling during a large file transfer burst would be an early warning worth alerting on.
