tpPortMirrorIngressSource

Module: TPLINK-PORTMIRROR-MIB

OID (symbolic): TPLINK-PORTMIRROR-MIB::tpPortMirrorIngressSource

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.11.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates a list of the source ports. Any packets received from these ports will be copyed to the assigned destination port. This should be given as 1/0/1,1/0/2-12. Note: The ports in other sessions and destination port can't add to this list.

What is tpPortMirrorIngressSource?

This object configures the list of source ports whose inbound, ingress traffic gets copied to this session's mirror destination. An admin lists these ports, using ranges like 1/0/2-12, to capture only incoming traffic on specific ports for troubleshooting, while destination and other-session ports are excluded automatically. For example, setting tpPortMirrorIngressSource to 1/0/5 captures only traffic arriving on port 5 for analysis at the mirror destination.
