Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates a list of the source ports. Any packets received or sended out from these ports will be copyed to the assigned destination ports. This should be given as 1/0/1,1/0/2-12. Note: The ports in other sessions and destination port can't add to this list.

What is tpPortMirrorBothSource?

This object configures the list of source ports whose traffic in both directions, ingress and egress, gets copied to this session's mirror destination. An admin uses this when full bidirectional visibility into a port's traffic is needed, rather than configuring ingress and egress mirroring separately. For example, setting tpPortMirrorBothSource to 1/0/8 captures both traffic arriving on and leaving from port 8 for full-duplex analysis.
