What is lldpGlobalCountNeighborInserted?
This INTEGER is a running count of LLDP neighbors the local device has newly inserted into its neighbor table. An admin watches it to see how many new neighboring devices have been discovered via LLDP since the counter was last reset, which is useful when auditing unexpected new devices appearing on switch ports. A sudden jump in this value alongside lldpGlobalCountNeighborDeleted could indicate a flapping link or a device repeatedly connecting and disconnecting.
