Description: Select to enable or disable the event notification when critical link event is Dying Gasp.

What is ethernetOamRfiCfgDyingGaspNotify?

This value enables or disables sending an OAM event notification when a Dying Gasp critical link event occurs, using disable(0) or enable(1); per the source, Dying Gasp is one of the flag values OAMPDUs use to signal an emergency link event such as sudden power loss. A network administrator enables this so a remote peer or NMS is alerted immediately when a device is about to lose power. For example, setting ethernetOamRfiCfgDyingGaspNotify to enable(1) on a remote-site switch ensures the far end gets an OAM notification the instant that switch loses power and starts shutting down.
