ethernetOamRfiCfgCriticalEventNotify

Module: TPLINK-ETHERNETOAMRFICFG-MIB

OID (symbolic): TPLINK-ETHERNETOAMRFICFG-MIB::ethernetOamRfiCfgCriticalEventNotify

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.60.1.3.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Select to enable or disable the event notification when critical link event is Critical Event.

What is ethernetOamRfiCfgCriticalEventNotify?

This value enables or disables sending an OAM event notification when a generic Critical Event link fault occurs, using disable(0) or enable(1), as the counterpart to the more specific Dying Gasp notification in this same RFI configuration table. An administrator enables this to get early warning of serious link-level faults on OAM-monitored Ethernet connections, distinct from a power-loss-specific Dying Gasp. For example, setting this to enable(1) means the switch will emit an OAM notification whenever it detects a critical fault condition on that port other than power loss.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.60.1.3.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TPLINK-ETHERNETOAMRFICFG-MIB::ethernetOamRfiCfgCriticalEventNotify

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.60.1.3.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TPLINK-ETHERNETOAMRFICFG-MIB::ethernetOamRfiCfgCriticalEventNotify.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.60.1.3.1.1.3.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ethernetOamRfiCfgCriticalEventNotify.1
