What Is TPLINK-DDMTXPOWTHRESHOLD-MIB?

TPLINK-DDMTXPOWTHRESHOLD-MIB is a TP-LINK proprietary MIB (extending TPLINK-DDMMANAGE-MIB) configuring per-port DDM TX-power alarm/warning thresholds for pluggable optics. Its table, keyed by port (with a LAG variant), records high/low alarm and high/low warning transmit-power thresholds. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm custom transmit-power-threshold settings for optical transceivers on a TP-LINK switch. It is deployed on TP-LINK managed switches (DDM TX-power thresholds). Engineers can download the TPLINK-DDMTXPOWTHRESHOLD-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TPLINK-DDMTXPOWTHRESHOLD-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

What Can Be Monitored

  • per-port DDM transmit-power alarm/warning thresholds

Supported Devices

  • TP-LINK managed switches (DDM TX-power thresholds)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks ddmTxPowThresholdLowAlarm to confirm the custom low-transmit-power alarm threshold for a transceiver on a TP-LINK switch port.
