memoryLoad

Module: TOS-SYSSTATE

OID (symbolic): TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryLoad

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.14331.5.5.1.4.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: Memory load value (percent*100).

What is memoryLoad?

memoryLoad reports the device's current memory utilization as a percentage multiplied by 100, requiring the raw value to be divided by 100 to read as a percent. Admins monitor this alongside memoryFree to catch a Topsec appliance running low on available memory before it affects packet processing. For example, a value of 8200 indicates the device is using 82.00% of its available memory.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.14331.5.5.1.4.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryLoad

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.14331.5.5.1.4.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryLoad.1

Start monitoring TOPSEC firewall/UTM security appliance (process health/HA cluster status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Create custom SNMP monitor using the TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryLoad OID value, configure state conditions and alerts, and monitor any TOPSEC firewall/UTM security appliance (process health/HA cluster status) from a single console.
