Module: TOS-SYSSTATE

OID (symbolic): TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryFree

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.14331.5.5.1.4.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: Memory free (byte).

What is memoryFree?

memoryFree reports the number of bytes of free memory currently available on the Topsec device. Admins use it to track available headroom directly in bytes, complementing the percentage figure given by memoryLoad. For example, a sudden drop in memoryFree over successive polls could warn of a memory leak or a spike in concurrent connections consuming resources.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.14331.5.5.1.4.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryFree

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.14331.5.5.1.4.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TOS-SYSSTATE::memoryFree.1
