Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates the HTTPS redirect mode operation. It only significant if HTTPS mode 'Enabled' is selected. Automatically redirects web browser to an HTTPS connection when both HTTPS mode and Automatic Redirect are enabled. Possible modes are: Enabled: Enable HTTPS redirect mode operation. Disabled: Disable HTTPS redirect mode operation.

What is tnHttpsConfigAutoRedirect?

This read-write boolean, meaningful only when HTTPS mode is enabled, automatically redirects a web browser to an HTTPS connection when both HTTPS mode and this auto-redirect setting are enabled. An admin enables this so users who type a plain HTTP URL are automatically bounced to the secure HTTPS management interface instead. For example, enabling this object alongside HTTPS mode ensures anyone browsing to the device's plain HTTP address is automatically redirected to the encrypted HTTPS interface.
