tnDevSysStatusWriteLevel

Module: TN-DEV-SYS-USER-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-DEV-SYS-USER-MIB::tnDevSysStatusWriteLevel

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.19.4.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Every group has an authorization Privilege level for the following sub groups: configuration read-only, configuration/execute read-write, status/statistics read-only, status/statistics read-write (e.g. for clearing of statistics). User Privilege should be same or greater than the authorization Privilege level to have the access to that group.

What is tnDevSysStatusWriteLevel?

This object sets the minimum user privilege level required to clear or reset status and statistics counters for this authorization group. Admins set this to restrict who can clear historical counters, since clearing statistics can erase evidence needed for troubleshooting if done by an unauthorized or careless user. For example, an admin might require a privilege level of 10 to clear interface error counters, preventing a read-only technician from wiping out data mid-investigation.
