tnDevAggrModeSportDport

Module: TN-DEV-AGGREGATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-DEV-AGGREGATION-MIB::tnDevAggrModeSportDport

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.38.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The TCP/UDP port number can be used to calculate the destination port for the frame.

What is tnDevAggrModeSportDport?

This read-write flag controls whether the TCP/UDP port numbers of a frame are used in the hash that selects the outgoing aggregation-group port. Including transport ports lets the switch spread load across member links even when traffic between the same pair of hosts uses many different application sessions. For example, enabling sportDport hashing on a trunk carrying many parallel TCP connections between two servers keeps those connections from all landing on the same physical link.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.38.1.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TN-DEV-AGGREGATION-MIB::tnDevAggrModeSportDport

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.38.1.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TN-DEV-AGGREGATION-MIB::tnDevAggrModeSportDport.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.38.1.1.4.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> tnDevAggrModeSportDport.1
