Description: The random number generator status.
What is permitGateRandNumGenStatus?
This object reports whether the device's random number generator, used for cryptographic key generation, is up, down, or not applicable. Admins check it because a failed random number generator can prevent new secure sessions or certificates from being established correctly. A status of down(1) would explain why new VPN tunnels are failing to negotiate while existing ones stay up.
