This read-only counter, per its name, tracks the number of errored packets received on this HDLC bundle over the last five-minute interval. As a rolling short-window counter, it lets admins catch a recent burst of link errors quickly rather than waiting to notice it in the cumulative since-boot counter. Illustratively, a nonzero genHdlcStatsErrPktsRxLastFiveMins after a previously clean run would flag a fresh, recent link-quality problem on that bundle.
