Description: Close every Security Association and disable IPSec. This variable just can take the values 1 (enabling IPSec) or 0 (disabling IPSec). GET operation returns the protocol state: 1 (enabled) and 0 (disabled).
What is iPSecActive?
Turns IPSec on or off for the whole router: setting it to 0 closes every active Security Association and disables IPSec entirely, while setting it to 1 re-enables the protocol. Reading it back tells you the current state - 1 for enabled, 0 for disabled - making it the master kill switch for VPN tunnels on this device.
